- generally a lead guitarist, but for a few years a classical guitarist.

- began composing in earnest ca 1980

- electronic music emphasis at SFCM for a semester in 1980

- NB: Free Associations project in conjunction with composer Scott Brazieal through 1987, which ranged some.

- digital music/virtual performance focus since 2006.
